When someone quits nicotine, the brain needs time to restore its natural balance. Many former users report better sleep, improved mood, and sharper concentration after several months without nicotine.

Today, a range of tools can support this recovery process—from nicotine replacement therapies and prescription medications to mindfulness practices and regular exercise, which naturally boost dopamine levels. The key is patience: the brain can heal itself when given time and support.
